It is a cold, November morning. The asphalt of the landing strip is as clear as crystal, the rubber of the airplane wheels grinding against its coarse surface as the machine comes to a shaking stop. Ryan can't help but grin stupidly as he looks out his foggy window, feasting on the sights of New York. Finally, a chance to be someone, a chance to be the strong, independent success he had wished to be since he was a boy. Yes, New York was his new, fresh start to success, and he couldn't thank his old friend Colin enough for providing him shelter as he stumbled along his journey. Ryan, however, was unaware of the list of grievances that loomed in Colin's head; a nice enough, but bickering couple, a hopeless young man stuck with an influenced roommate, a good-for-nothing drunk, and a rather eccentric roommate of his own. At exactly 6 am, the moment Ryan's foot first touches New York soil, their lives will become intertwined, and there is no turning back. Just as Ryan breathes in the scent of New York air, Brad and Jeff are having breakfast.Chip drowsily flips off his alarm, barely making an attempt to get up. He won't be able to shower, for Greg is well occupied with his drug craze in the bathroom. Wayne is busily applying rouge, while Tony is downing the remaining half of his rum. And Colin is anxiously looking over the bills for his apartment building, awing over the large numbers as he waits for Ryan's arrival.
